The neighbors of Pizarra and the areas of Cerralba and Zalea are launching a new Malaga Area Metropolitan Transport Consortium bus route. From January, 3rd, this route will increase the connections between the different neighborhoods respect to the current offer, joining the Consortium fare framework and benefiting from all the advantages offered by the use of the Transport Card.

The bus route M-104 Pizarra-Zalea-Cerralba includes in its route the neighborhood of Realejos, and incorporates three new exclusive bus stops: Residencia Zalea, Piscina Pizarra and Casa del Conde.

It will have a frequency of four expeditions from Monday to Friday (only working days) in Pizarra-Zalea-Cerralba direction at 08:45, 12:30, 15:45 and 19:15 hours, and two in Cerralba-Zalea-Pizarra direction at 09:10 and 12:55 p.m.

The price of the single ticket is 1.55 euros, (zero fare zone). But by using the Consortium Travel Card the rate is 0.93 euros. In order to enjoy the discounts and benefits offered by this way of payment, you must purchase a Travel Card configured for zero fare zones. The outlets available in the municipality of Pizarra are:

  • Cerralba:
    • Farmacia de Cerralba, C / Ronda Este, 38
  • Pizarra:
    • Pizarra’s City Hall, Plaza de la Cultura, 1
    • Estanco Cobos, Plaza del Ayuntamiento, 11

During the 1st week all the single tickets will be cost 1 euro. It is planned to carry out an information campaign on the bus itself about the new route and the advantages of using the Transport Card.
