From September, 16th to 22nd will take place the European Mobility Week, a campaign that wants us to figure out how we set our movements, raising the use of public transport, cycling, walking, etc.

The slogan of this year, “Smart mobility. Strong economy” notes that, in addition to significant savings in resources, profits generated by smart and sustainable mobility on the environment and health also means a high reduction on costs for reducing the effects caused by the abuse of private vehicles. So, we all win: citizens, public and private sectors and society at large.

Many European cities are promoting these ways of transport and investing in new infrastructure necessary for this.

Malaga Area Metropolitan Transport Consortium (CTMAM) aims to achieve this goal of sustainable cities to live in, spreading the use of public transport among all citizens / residents and visitors as well. Therefore, has been organized the following activities:

  • ENTREPRENEURSHIP WORKSHOP ON NEW BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES IN PUBLIC TRANSPORT AND SUSTAINABLE MOBILITY. SMART CITIES: Workshop Objective: To publicize the opportunities that sustainable mobility in general and public transport in particular can offer to entrepreneurs, establishing synergies between them and the transport sector itself in order to find new solutions that meet needs, wishes and expectations of consumers, customers and users.
