The City Council of Mijas, in collaboration with the Malaga Area Metropolitan Transport Consortium, will start the new intercity bus route M-156 Las Lagunas-Centro Comercial-Cerros del Águila.
This new bus route, which will come into service next Monday, July, 10th, will stop at Rotonda de Las Lagunas, Centro Comercial Miramar Fuengirola (Shopping Center), Cementerio de San Cayetano (Cemetery), Hipódromo, Cerrado del Águila Golf and Cerros del Águila.
It will have four complete round trips + return, working from Monday to Friday (only working days). Thus, there will be expeditions departing from Rotonda Ford at 08:00, 11:00, 14:15 and 19:00, and from Cerros del Águila at 08:15, 11:15, 14:30 and 19:15. The journey takes about 15 minutes.
In this way, the residents of Cerros del Águila will have a route that connects them with leisure, shopping and services areas, as well as direct connections with other bus routes of the Consortium with destination to Malaga, Fuengirola and Marbella.
